Next Trip : London & Europe

Seronok tak terkira... now bermula diari baru..
mencari maklumat untuk next adventure..
teruja dan nervous..
kali ini pergi bersama en. suami..
alhamdulillah.. kepada yang Esa..
kerana memberikan daku teman hidup..
yang boleh berkongsi suka dan duka..

ok.. back to my next adventure.. kali nih tak susah2 dah nak pujuk orang ikut...
dah confirm en. suami kena ikut.. tapi planning kena buat sorang2 ..
sebab bab planning, en suami memang fail..
so he leave it to me..

he only need to prepare - mentally and physically..  hehehehe

So I have 2 choice.. first, ingat nak buat trip dalam France sahaja ..
But now, as time getting nearer .. terbaca blog orang lain pasal another location..

I need to start from Paris.. because that's where my flight going to land in April..
I bought the ticket 2 months ago .. (memang suka plan awal2, sbb ada time nak kumpul duit and plan).. selagi x beli tiket, selagi tu plan hanya di mulut.. bila dah beli, baru la tangan laju mencari-cari maklumat..

First Choice:

Second Choice:

Second choice nampak lebih menarik ..

so ...... nantikan perkembangan kami dari masa ke semasa.. :)

Tips by Symantec with regards to Internet Security for year 2015

What I can summarize from this article - http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/12/28/Cyber-landscape-of-2015-From-targeted-attacks-to-ransomware-security-firm-Symantec-Malaysia-predicts):

1. Don't be the "weak link" in your organization.. (can you understand what this means? or you need me to elaborate?) :D

2. PASSWORD - i think it has been repeatedly mentioned everywhere - protect your password.. protect your ATM pin code .. blah blah blah.. but people still find it hard to use different password for different transaction.. i know it's hard to remember many password .. so here the tips:

You can use a single password for all your transaction.. but make it different by keywords. for example, I love nasik lemak .. so I  use this password for:

i) Yahoo -   N2sikL3makYah00
ii) Gmail -  Gm4ilN2sikL3mak
iii) Office - N2sik0pisL3mak

spot the similarity? oh yer, this is only example.. although I do love nasik lemak, but I don't use this example in my real passwords list .. :D

3. Don't share your location, friends list or photos with public!!! if you're not a target, you might feel that it is safe to share to other people.. but you never know when you will be a target ... remember the "Kiki" case? once she's a target, people know everything about her, fullname, where she work, where she lived..etc... so be cautious.. you don't want people to know who you are once you're a target...

but ... people might know a lot about me because of my work.. so I pray hard to Allah to keep me safe from all the embarrassment in the world..

4. Be careful when taking pictures... don't take any photos with your phone / mobile device that you will regret if it ever become available to public with or without your consent..

5. Be careful with the cloud .. understand its risks .. aware of its vulnerabilities .. remember the naked American actress case??

Other tips which not mentioned in the article:

6. Always lock you PC when you're not at your desk..

7. Always log out from any account when you're using public computer (actually this habit is good even with your own computer  .. try NOT to login to any banking websites when using public computer / public wifi .. if you really need to do the transaction from public computer, make sure you log out & clear its cache.. and be alert for any unnormal email / sms from the bank after the transaction ..

I think that's enough for today .. I'll write more from time to time if I ever have any tips / ideas.

Till then, be safe..

Blur image from Google Map

Recently Google Malaysia has announce their latest update on Google Map in Malaysia.. Now you can see the roads, buildings, schools, public area, using Google Map.. it's easy and fun too ...

However, when I enter my house address, I can see my house clearly ..
I don't want people to see my house or what type of car I use .. and how many cars I have ..  and the list goes on ...

So luckily 1 of my facebook friend gave me this link..

HELPME] How To Remove Your House From Google Street View

'There's not a whole lot of privacy to go around nowadays, so it's a good idea to take advantage of any opportunity for anonymity you can find. It's actually pretty easy to ask Google to blur out your house from Street View.'

SOURCE: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/07/remove-google-street-view_n_5563939.html

So do it..

I did it for my house, and it worked.. Google did blur my house from public view..
and once it is blurred, it will be permanent... no way to undone it..

but who need to know your house anyway .. if you want to send the picture of your house to a friend, emailed it to them, or facebook it.. but not Google Map it..

Please do this.. you don't want to be stalk by people... do you?

Throat Singing by traditional singer in Ulaanbaatar

Throat singing....making the human voice soar, quiver and drone, its pitches in eerie unison like a bagpipe...

Cute!!
