Blank,,

I got myself a new phone.. muahahhaaa.. so cool .. and the best thing is, it was free.. i got lucky in the lucky draw during one event organized by my company.. wuhuuuuu niceee touch!!! love it!!!!! I'm not really a gadget person, so I really felt reluctant to buy a new phone that will cost me RM1k.. I would prefer to use the money for diving or traveling.. so when I got it for free.. OMG!!!!! it was sooooooo demmmm nice!!! => .. Alhamdulillah..

Anyway.. I'm a bit lazy to write.. earlier i have lots of things to say, but suddenly it just blank.. hahaaha.. so.. maybe I should stop for now.. will write again later.. maybe.. :D

Mee Tarik Warisan Asli, Sg Besi

I always wanted to write about food journey..  I've been thinking about it for quite a while now.. but knowing myself, my mood always comes and goes..  most of the time, it ended up not writing anything at all .. but I decided to start doing it NOW!!!! please fida, now is the best time (because it's Friday... muhahahahahaa) .. and because of this quote:

"STOP WISHING, START DOING"

Yesterday evening, I met with my old housemates during my time working in Penang years ago .. I stayed with them for more than 5 years and it was a good memory during my early age of working life .. when I started working in Penang, I was only 21.. and my housemates were the friends who always taught me about working life..

Ok, back to the story of the food journey..  We had Mee Tarik Warisan Asli at Sg Besi.. It's located at the Jalan Tasik Utama 3, Medan Niaga Tasik Damai .. look for the new building .. I noticed DOME and PASTRY shop there.. so if you can see this 2 shops, means that Mee Tarik is nearby.. (but you must be in Sg Besi laa.. jangan plak kat tempat lain, mmg x jumpak laaa.. hehehehe )

First time I set foot in the restaurant, it looks like any typical restaurant.. nothing new with a minimum decoration .. very minimum actually..  as this is my first time, I find it hard to order anything because you don't know what to try.. but as a noodle lover, I told myself that it must taste good as it's already shown in TV show "Jalan-jalan cari makan" @ TV3.

I tried this, but my bad decision because I don't like long beans..

Personally I think, I like the noodle.. it's tasty on its own.. I don't really like the gravy and I think it's too oily .. but the noodle make it nice..

Toothpick Lam - marinated and cook with sesame

 Like to eat this one, but after a while, I couldn't take it anymore.. the taste was too strong for me..

 

Beef Cold Noodles

Fungus Noodle .. almost like mine but with fungus.. as a fungus fan, i like this one..

Special Chinese herb tea .. again, as a fan of herb tea, i like this drink and will definitely order it in future

Forgot the name of this noodle, but nice soup.. again, a little too oily for me.. 

Overall, I like the taste of noodle .. you can taste the sense of freshness in every bite .. only the way they cooked it didn't meet my expectation (too oily) ..

If you go to Sg Besi, you should try this.. just for something different in your menu once a while.... ;)
